The Classic series does not only offer the possibility of large-area glazing
but fills the gap to standard horizontally pivoted windows. The casement can be
easily shifted and provides a clear view with no bothersome window frames.
The standard design of the Classic series allows installation of large
areas of glazing. The elongated guide rails mean the window casement can be
slid almost completely over the roofing. These windows are also very popular as
roof exits or light domes.
Used as
balcony exits, the windows provide new construction possibilities. The sliding
roof windows are supplied according to the latest heat insulation ordinance of
2009.
Product details
The Classic
series consists of a multi-compartment basic profile with a glazing support
layer. The cavities of the basic profile are thermally separate barrier boxes.
Moreover, the second layer is used for guiding the drive unit.
The moving
frame (sash) is made from a multi-compartment basic profile featuring barrier
boxes for thermal separation. The sash is moved without contact via two pairs
of seal systems at the top and bottom on both sides.
The glazing is set in the first layer of the sash from the outside and is
sealed all round with a seal system inside and out and held with glass borders.
The drive unit is on the outside on the base frame and is mounted against the
direction of travel. Its external position means that motor noise is directed
outwards and does not penetrate inside the room. It allows
installation-friendly access from the outside to the electrical motor and drive
unit and their connections.
The control voltage and electrical lines (230V) are led through seal systems to
any desired control and electrical source. Further control units and the
required safety rail can be retrofitted without any problem.
